AmandaPanda: I am a trailing spouse living in Beijing, The Middle Kingdom. I am also a pharmacist and I earn my keep by keeping my beautiful two boys alive in an exhilirating, polluted, Communist and extremely exciting city. I am not a yummy-mummy, though it would be nice, and I think of myself rather as a cathedral builder. My heart beats for the African sky, beaches and mountains. Gardening soothes my soul - a bit of a challenge in China. One day I will have a cat, a Labrador,a Golden Retriever, some ducks, and a white picket fence. And perhaps even find a place where I can put down roots and have my heart grow some wings.
